[edit] Goals

1. EUDEC is a funding organisation for research on democratic education and/or is actively involved in soliciting grants from 3rd party sources

2. EUDEC promotes and makes available research in the areas of:

I. theoratical background
II. empirical research on schools
III. society related research
IV. self-evaluation of democratic schools

3. EUDEC is actively participating in research networks on democratic education and related research areas.

[edit] Means

1. identify relevant research fields and make literature available. --> collect in database and do a review

2. find stakeholders --> advertise research projects on webpage

3. make a list of funding programs available on country, regional or european level

4. create a list of people and institutions (universities, institutes, professors or researchers) to create a growing network

5. identify relevant platforms (conferences, journals, forums, etc.) to collaborate

6. develop a system for self evaluation and/or to seek out recognised methods that fits democratic education
