Application Form – Full Membership - School

In order to qualify for full membership in EUDEC a school or college must (1) be located in an EU state, candidate state or other European state, as defined by the European Union and (2) confirm its commitment to upholding the rights of young persons as described by the 2005 IDEC Resolution (see School Statement below).

Schools which are not eligible for full membership based on these two criteria are encouraged to apply as "associate members".

*We hereby confirm that our school strives to respect the rights of young persons as described by the 2005 Resolution, 13th International Democratic Education Conference (IDEC), Berlin, Germany:

In any educational setting, young people have the right

to decide individually how, when, what, where and with whom they learn, (taking into account the limitations of what the school is actually able to offer)

to have an equal share in the decision making as to how their organisations – in particular their schools - are run, and which rules and sanctions, if any, are necessary.
